(Boarding Officer on Radio) Mohawk, the ship's home port is Great Inagua, Bahamas. |
| (Lt. McKinley) They're Bahamian. Roger, understand. Home port is Great Inagua. What was their last port of call? |

(Rice) This is a Bahamian vessel. Originally, we thought it was Haitian by its design. Typically, the Haitian vessels have tree trunks and limbs that they use for their masts and spars. That's what this one has. But it's Bahamian. |
| (Rice) He's on his way from Port-de-Paix, Haiti to Nassau. He's supposed to have some vegetables on board which he's taking to the Bahamas. We didn't have any communications with them when we first approached, which is typical. They don't have many electronics on board these types of vessels. |
| (Rice) So we sent a boarding team over to establish communications from the small boat. We got the information we needed and asked them for permission to board their vessel. They gave us permission to come aboard. So this is fairly routine. |
